This post was inspired by two things:

1. the abysmal weather in seattle.

2. my new camera!

What better activity on a rainy day than making yummy food?

Fancy Hummus

(the pine nuts and rosemary make it fancy)

1 can beans (black or white or garbanzo or a mix!)

1 clove minced garlic

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons tahini (like peanut butter but made from sesame seeds)

2 tablespoons pine nuts (optional)

2 teaspoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon crushed fresh rosemary (or 1/4 dried) (optional)

salt & pepper to taste

Throw it all in the food processor.

Blitz.

Eat!
